Mark S. Goldstein, DDS
Owner and Founder
Dr. Goldstein opened Special Smiles, Ltd. in 2003 to provide comprehensive dental care for individuals with special needs, a population who is known to have declining oral health because of their limited access to proper care. He is a Member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, and has more than 25 years experience providing comprehensive dental services to children throughout the Philadelphia area, including adult patients with special needs. Co-founder of Pediatric Dental Residency at Temple University Hospital – Episcopal Campus, and principal and co-founder of Pediatric Dental Associates, Ltd. Dr. Goldstein is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, and completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

Mark has been a member of the Special Smiles Board of Directors since 2018 and joined the Special Smiles team full-time in March 2022. His previous 30 years as a professional focused on international sales and operations in multiple industries and locations. Mark brings his well-rounded perspective and passion for service to helping Special Smiles deliver on its mission.
Stephen Zuccarini

Steve has been active in the dental field for 10 years and has spent the last 6 years with Special Smiles, Ltd. He has a passion to see patients have a positive experience going to the dentist.
Patricia Silverio
Director of Administrative Services
Patricia, a graduate of LaSalle University, has been with Special Smiles, Ltd. for 3 years, but has over 25 years of healthcare management experience. She is committed to providing excellent service to the special needs community and believes it has been a privilege to work with them.
Paul Fischer, DMD
Staff Dentist
Dr. Fischer graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry. During Dental school, he was recruited into the United States Air Force and moved to Washington DC for an Air Force Residency in advanced education in general dentistry after graduation. He then spent the following two years on active duty at Patrick AFB, Florida, ensuring military members were dentally qualified for deployment. He later entered reserve status and moved back to the Philadelphia area where he became a member of the Special Smiles, Ltd. team.
Jordan Strott, DMD
Staff Dentist
Dr. Strott received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Strott was accepted to a General Practitioner Residency Program at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey. While at Mountainside, Dr. Strott received advanced training in all specialties of dentistry, including operating room dentistry. Dr. Strott takes great pride in providing quality comprehensive dental care to her patients. She develops a customized treatment plan by taking the time to listen to the needs and desires of her patients and their guardians. Dr. Strott makes sure to educate those involved so they understand the dental procedures she recommends as well as how to maintain healthy mouths once treatment is complete.
Ryan Davis, DMD
Staff Dentist
Dr. Davis graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and completed his residency in Pediatrics. He served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy for four years. His background in both adult and children’s dentistry enables him to provide comprehensive treatment for patients of all ages. “Dr. Ryan,” as the children call him, strives to make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.
Gregg M. Chialastri, DDS
Staff Dentist
Dr. Chialastri has been providing Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, and dental assistance to those with special needs for over 30 years. He received his dental degree from Temple University with additional training in Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Dental Society, Pennsylvania Dental Society, and the Philadelphia Dental Society, where he was a board member and their president.
Erin McGrath, DMD
Staff Dentist
Dr. McGrath graduated from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry with her dental degree and continued her education with a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Temple University Hospital. She received a professional scholarship from the United States Air Force, where she has been on active duty as a general dentist.
Patricia A. Sansaricq, DMD MPH
Staff Dentist
Dr. Sansaricq graduated from University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine and specializes in general dentistry. Throughout her career, she has been the recipient of many awards including the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry. She also prides herself on volunteer work from being a former board member of the University of Pennsylvania Dental House to a Girl Scout leader.
