Dr. Mark Goldstein takes Sen. Christine Tartaglione on a tour of Special Smiles facilities.
Pennsylvania State Senator Christine Tartaglione visited Special Smiles this spring, touring the facility and meeting with practice founder Mark Goldstein, DDS, staff dentist Jordan Strott, DMD and practice administrator Patricia Silverio.
Dr. Goldstein spoke about the origins of Special Smiles, our longstanding relationship with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and our expansion plans. Dr. Strott discussed the negative impact of Covid-19 on our very vulnerable patient population. Ms. Silverio explained that our unique services draw patients not only from Philadelphia and surrounding counties but also from across the state.
Sen. Tartaglione is very knowledgeable about the disability community and was very receptive to the information provided.
